The deadline for completed applications in electronic form is Sunday, April 24, 2022 Applications should be submitted no later than midnight on this date.

Applicants will be notified by April 29, 2022 Should you be accepted to the program, a $200.00 fee will be due one business day after notification of acceptance to the program.

Students who will be on study abroad this fall during APEC 2022 are not eligible to apply.

ESSAY QUESTIONS

Thailand’s host year will focus on charting a post-COVID-19 future for the Asia-Pacific region. As APEC moves forward from the health and economic crises, we need to promote long-term growth that is resilient, inclusive, balanced and sustainable.

The theme for APEC 2022 is “Open. Connect. Balance.”, as we will open to all opportunities, connect in all dimensions and be balanced in all aspects.
What post-COVID challenges will APEC economies face in trying to connect people across political, economic, and socioeconomic divisions, and why are these connections important?
With all of the available digital technologies for connecting people, why is it important for APEC delegates (and APEC Voices youth delegates!) to meet in person in Thailand?
