APEC Voices of the Future Program

The application deadline is Sunday, March 23, 2025. Applications should be submitted no later than 11:59 p.m. on this date.

Applicants will be notified by Monday, April 14, 2025. Should you be accepted to the program, the $200 fee will be due by Friday, May 2.

Students who will be studying abroad in the fall 2025 semester are not eligible to apply.

SHORT ESSAY QUESTIONS
The theme for APEC 2025 is "Building a Sustainable Tomorrow: Connect, Innovate, Prosper."

- The first priority, "Connect," focuses on enhancing physical, institutional, and people-to-people linkages across the region, recognizing that sustainable economic growth relies on robust supply chains, efficient markets, and collaborative exchanges.

- The second priority, "Innovate," focuses on harnessing technology for sustainable and inclusive growth. With digitalization transforming economies, APEC 2025 aims to bridge the digital divide and ensure equitable access to emerging technologies.

- The third priority, "Prosper," aims to address pressing global issues such as climate change, food security, health, and demographic shifts. The initiatives include accelerating the transition to clean energy, which seeks to integrate renewable energy, hydrogen, and nuclear power into the region's energy mix.

From your studies or experiences, what initiative or global issue related to these priorities are you most passionate about, and why?
