Faculty Application: 2026 Summer Research Fellows

If you are overseeing more than one project, then you must complete an application for each of them. However, if you are applying for more than one Fellow for any given project, then simply add them below with their student ID and email address.

Faculty submit their applications first. In 2026, we will continue utilizing the Terra Dotta platform for student applications. Undergraduate Research Office staff will load the student into Terra Dotta and then email the student a link to access their application. Faculty applications are due, Friday, February 13, 2026; student applications are due Friday, February 27, 2026.

To find a student ID in Workday, type the student’s name into the search bar at the top and hit return. If the student’s name does not appear below, select “student” from the categories list on the left-hand side of the screen. You should be able to click on the student’s name. The student ID is now called Universal ID.
