The First Year China Experience is a year-long program designed to introduce participants to China's rich diversity and the Chinese language. Participants will take two semesters of Chinese language and a fall First Year Writing Seminar "Debunking Myths of China." All participants who receive a B or higher in their three courses will participate in a fully funded two week study tour to China in May 2027.
